- Our Charity Night on the 16th July 2011 was a huge success! We raised a total of £979.39 for the charities Help For Heroes and Toe In The Water.
- In December 2010 the staff at KP received a special thank you in The Press for helping to dig out the monks from the Madhyamaka Buddhist Centre who had been stuck in the snow for several days.

KP was shortlisted for the Remarkable Taste award and Remarkable Conference Venue award as well as Paul Hannon being shortlisted once again for the Remarkable Welcome award in the 2012 REYTA's.
Our Revenue and Marketing Manager Gemma Sargent has won the Best Wedding Venue Co-ordinator Award for the North East Region in the 2012 Wedding Industry Awards.
General Manager Paul Hannon was shortlisted for the Remarkable Welcome Award at the 2011 REYTA's.
