Kilnwick Percy Golf Club was established from family farmland by the Huxtable family in 1994. Since that time, the club has grown a large membership base and become a popular venue.

In May 2005, following a decision by the Huxtable family to retire, a partnership of local businessmen acquired the business with ambitious plans to create the premier golf club in the East Yorkshire region. The new owners wasted no time in recruiting a new club pro, Director of Golf Aaron Pheasant, Assistant pro Ashley Pheasant, and General Manager Jonathon Dixon.

The brand new club house received planning in November 2006, and the second stage of the development process at the club began in December 2006, as the East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Planning Committee approved plans for the construction of fourteen lodges at Kilnwick Percy Golf Club.

September 2007 saw the completion of the show home and new Managing Director Simon Brown and Marketing Manager Natasha Chapman joined the team and the journey to transform the Kilnwick Percy Golf Club through the £2.5m investment into a luxury leisure destination, which is all now presented under the new brand name of the KP Club.

2008 will see the grand opening of the club house, which has been named the Glasshouse, as well as continued investment on the golf course, and new facilities such as gymnasium, spa, equestrian centre, driving range and much more.
